Summer cello retreat

This summer, the Cello Retreat will take place in the mountains of North Carolina at the Valle Crucis Conference Center from August 5 to 8, 2022. Daily cello classes will be led by instructors Alan Black and Grace Anderson, and will consist of Technique, Masterclass, Cello Choir and Improvisation. The retreat concludes with a concert.

Valle Crucis is located in Banner Elk, just 20 minutes west of Boone. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, hike and explore nearby waterfalls. The average temperature in August is between 64° - 76°.

Fee for tuition, lodging and all meals is $650.
